Adoption fee: $250

Wrigley is a 4 year old black and tan female Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail. She is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, negative for heartworms, and negative for intestinal parasites.

We pride ourselves in having good relationships with our vets, and it’s because of this that Wrigley was rescued. Wrigley was brought into the vet to be euthanized when her family decided they were no longer able to afford her care. She has diabetes and her owners didn’t want to pay for her insulin and medications and special food. She is an absolute sweetheart that plays great with other dogs, but is also content to just hang out on the couch. She is good with cats and dog-savvy children and would do well in just about any home. She takes her insulin injections very well and just stands and waits until you are done. She is a serious velcro Doberman that just wants to be pet and cuddled with as much as possible. She is also a talker! While petting her, she moans and groans with joy. If you stop, she will vocalize her displeasure. Her need to communicate knows no limits, and it’s absolutely adorable. Wrigley is crate trained, potty trained and is also one of the few Dobermans that does not melt in the rain. If you are looking for a stage 5 clinger to cuddle with on the couch and don’t mind working with her easily managed diabetes, Wrigley could be the girl for you!
