Bridgette is a 3-year-old female Doberman with cropped ears and a docked tail, though one of her ears does not stand.  She is up to date on vaccinations (rabies, combo, Bordatella), spayed, negative for heartworms and intestinal parasites, and microchipped.

Bridgette is a beautiful and loving girl that came to GDR from Cobb County Animal Control where she was picked up as a stray.  When no one came to claim her, we picked her up and brought her into rescue.  Loving, clingy and incredibly sweet, Bridgette is a wonderful Doberman girl for the right family.  Young children and other dogs are not a good fir for Bridgette as she’s a bit of a control freak.  She feels the need to be in charge and control of a situation, and if playing or running around gets to be too much fun for her taste and she will snap at the young children or other dogs.  Older, less rambunctious children (teenagers and older) will be fine.  While we have not observed her with cats, we would expect they would not be a good fit.  If you are experienced with Dobermans and are a proper leader for Bridgette, she will fall in line and be a wonderful companion.  She is crate trained, potty trained, and not too wild on a leash.  She’s not a wanderer and would rather be by your side than off running about and playing in the yard.
