Physical appearance: Stella Ann is a female, 4-year-old fawn and tan Doberman with a docked tail and natural ears. She is a bit on the tall side but otherwise average size for a female Doberman.
Personality: Stella Ann is as sweet and goofy as they come. It’s important to know that she seems to have some off behavioral ticks, but we wouldn’t go so far to say that she is special needs. When she’s sitting or standing still, she’ll tilt and sometimes shake her head, and when she’s really, excited, she will spin and spin! It’s adorable. We don’t know if there is something specific that may have caused this when she was a puppy, but know it has no effect on her quality of life and she’s a super happy girl. She loves to play and has a ton of energy so a fenced yard is an absolute must. She loves everyone and has never met a stranger, be it human or animal. She enjoys playing with her Doberman foster sister and did well with her owner’s former cat and their young children.
Why she’s in rescue: Stella Ann was adopted from us in 2019, but due to a divorce and working long hours, her family can’t give her the time and attention she needs and decided it would be best to find her a new home.
Manners and training: Stella Ann doesn’t really know any commands but she is well behaved in the house and respectful. She is potty trained, and crate trained and can use some work on the leash. She can be a bit slower to learn things, so her new family will need to have some patience with her.
Vetting: All our dogs are brought up to date on rabies, Bordetella, and combo, negative for intestinal parasites, spayed and microchipped before adoption.
