Georgia Doberman rescue is completely run by volunteers. No one on our board receives any sort of payment or salary for their services, nor do any of our volunteers. Even though we ask for adoption fees, more often than not they do not cover the full vetting costs of the dogs we rescue. Many come to us with dire medical needs such as heartworms or surgery needs. When we do get a healthy dog, we consider ourselves lucky.Monetary Donations
If the cost of the adoption fees don’t cover the vetting of our dogs, then how do we afford the treatments? By the incredible generosity of our donors and supporters. We are always in need of donations as we never know when the next emergency case will arise. If you are interested in making a donation to help us save the discarded dogs of our beloved breed, we accept donations below through PayPal and as a check through the mail. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all of your donations are completely tax deductible.

Material Donations
We treat our rescue dogs like members of the family. That means collars, leashes, beds, toys, crates, bowls, food, treats, etc. are all supplied to help make them feel at home. Our fosters and their dogs LOVE getting gifts, and if you would like to donate something instead of money, we have a number of ways to do so.

Kuranda Beds
A lot of our dogs have never had the comfort of a home before, and their very own bed is a new and wonderful thing. If you would like to donate a bed to one of our rescues, Kuranda offers discounts!
