At Georgia Doberman Rescue, we appreciate your support through purchases, donations, and adoptions. Below you’ll find our policies regarding refunds, returns, and other related matters. If you have any questions, please contact us at contact@georgiadobermanrescue.com.

Merchandise Purchases

Made-to-Order Items (T-Shirts, Mugs, Apparel, etc.):
Most of our merchandise is made to order through partners like Printful and Bonfire. Because of this, we do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as incorrect sizing or buyer’s remorse.

Damaged or Misprinted Items:
If an item arrives with a manufacturing defect or print error, we will gladly replace it. To request a replacement:

In-Stock Items (Stickers, Keychains, etc.):
Returns are not accepted for these items unless they arrive damaged. Damaged in-stock items follow the same process as above.

Shipping & Processing Time:
Orders typically ship within 5–7 business days, but this may be longer during holidays or high-volume periods. We currently ship within the United States only.

Donations

We are deeply grateful for your generosity. Because donations support urgent veterinary care, food, shelter, and other direct rescue expenses, they are typically non-refundable. However:

  • Refunds will be considered if you contact us within 48 hours of making a donation

  • Email contact@georgiadobermanrescue.com with your full name and transaction details

  • Donations made via PayPal will generate a receipt automatically; mailed donations receive a thank-you receipt by mail

Returning an Adopted Dog

We are committed to our dogs for life. If you adopt a Doberman from us and circumstances change, we will always take the dog back—no matter how long it’s been. However:

  • Adoption donations are non-refundable under any circumstances

  • You must provide a minimum of 1 week’s notice before returning the dog

  • If you need to return the dog with less than 7 days’ notice, you are responsible for boarding fees of $35/day for up to 14 days while we secure a space

  • Returns must be coordinated through our team to ensure the safety of the dog and smooth transition back into rescue
